Life is a journey we all travel, and along the way, we meet people who become a big part of our lives. For many of us, our brothers fit this description perfectly. They’ve been there with us, side by side, sharing in our joys and sorrows. But sometimes, life takes them on a different path, and they have to go away for a while. This poem is about that feeling, that mix of emotions when a brother is far from home.
We took our steps together,
Walked on the same road,
Had the same support system,
And even shared the same stories…
I lived with you for years,
And will definitely live even more,
But this transitional period,
Of you staying away,
Walking ahead in life,
Ahead of our memories,
Creates pain in my heart…
Describing you is really easy,
And yet somehow really hard,
Understanding you was really easy,
And yet somehow really hard…
I fought with you my entire life,
And will fight with you even more,
(be ready the next time)..
My life is back to my routine,
And still, some part feels empty,
I hate to say this,
But I love you…
A lot of people around me,
I am still missing you,
A lot of stories to hear,
But still, miss your shitty ones…..
I don’t wanna talk to you,
I don’t wanna see you,
All I want is for you to come back,
Come back to me,
Because today I feel alone,
Alone, only because you are away,
Only because your stupidity is away,
Only because a very important part of my life is away…
As we wrap up our discussion of the poem “Brother,” we’re reminded of the strong bond between siblings. It’s a special connection that’s both wonderful and complicated. The poem captures the emotions we feel when our brother is far away. It talks about missing their stories, even the annoying ones, and the emptiness that can come when they’re not around.
Sometimes, we might argue with our siblings, even fight with them, but deep down, there’s a unique kind of love that keeps us connected. When they’re not with us, we feel like something is missing. We yearn for their presence and the familiar feeling of having them nearby.
In the end, what matters most is the love we have for our brothers. No matter where life takes them, that love remains strong. It’s what makes our lives richer and more meaningful. So, to all the brothers and sisters out there, may this poem remind you of the special bond you share, a bond that can withstand time and distance.
