One who resides in my eyes hasn’t descended into my heart
The ship’s traveler hasn’t seen the ocean’s every part
If I go home untimely, all will be shocked, I fear
It’s been a while since I’ve seen my home in daylight clear
Since I’ve started walking, my gaze is fixed on the goal
My eyes have never seen the milestones, I’m in a soulful role
I’ve trusted the love of friends, it’s a bond so strong and true
I haven’t seen a dagger hidden in flowers, that’s not what I’d do
These flowers have been inherited to me, a precious find
You haven’t seen my bed filled with thorns, where I lay my head to hide
The stone tells me it’s the one that loves me, a curious claim
I ‘m made of wax, and they’ve never touched me to see if i’d remain
The person who can’t see the ocean in my eyes
Can’t understand my problems, and that’s a sad surprise
